Fix-it Friend LLC is a licensed , bonded and insured handyperson business that serves homeowners in the Olympia area.
We offer practical and creative solutions to small and medium projects, with a goal of reducing a homeowner’s “to do list” and enabling you to use your energy elsewhere.
We provide safe, trustworthy and respectful services in the Olympia area with a special emphasis for elderly, female identifying community members, families, and LGBTQIA+.
What we offer
Half-day Service
This 4 hour service starts at $300 plus tax and materials and focuses on small tasks.
Typical types of projects include shelf assembly, picture hanging, caulking, trim, small paint touch-ups, small drywall patches, keyless entry install, small deck or fence repair, etc.
Monthly Subscription Service
Monthly fix it subscription service comes in a 6 or 12 month package. This is a reoccurring service that includes 2 hours of monthly home maintenance services. This is a great way to keep up on those home owner tasks that can often get away from us. Typical items include smoke detector checks, caulking, light bulb changes, check or change hvac filters, small paint or drywall patches, contractor referrals. Exterior caulking, deck or fence repair, paint touch-ups.
Custom Service
Are you looking for a custom built item such as shelves, planters, pet furniture, or projects that might be more involved? Or perhaps you want to do a project on your own but don’t know quite where to start or what items you will need?
We can help!
We don’t do plumbing, electrical, gas appliances, hang full rooms of drywall, roofing, insulation, ceiling work, or landscaping.

Once you provide a service inquiry via our online form, you will receive a response within 24-48 hours. A site visit may be scheduled if more information is needed.
Who is Fix it Friend?
I’m Amy(she/her), owner of Fix It Friend, LLC. I am a maker, problem solver, and educator. With more than a decade of experience doing handy work, I have had the opportunity to find lots of solutions to improve my own home and the homes of others. I enjoy serving my community here in Olympia and value the trust others put in me to help improve their homes.
