Services
At Fix it Friend LLC, I offer flexible flat-rate services for home repair and small carpentry — from quick single-item fixes to full-day project lists — as well as custom multi-day projects. Basic materials are included in every flat-rate package, so you know exactly what you're paying before I arrive. For custom projects, time and materials are estimated and shared before work begins.
Currently booking 2–3 weeks out.
Single Visit — From $150
Just one thing that needs doing? That's enough. You don't need a full list to book — if you have one item you want taken care of, this is the right fit.
Pricing is confirmed at booking based on the scope of your job. Most single-visit services fall between $150 and $225. Basic hardware and materials are included, so there's no extra invoice at the end.
Examples:
Doorknob or lock installation
Small drywall patch (under 1 sq ft)
Minor caulking touch-up
Light fixture replacement
Picture hanging or small hardware installation
Outdoor railing (1–3 step) installation
Flat rate includes basic materials. Price confirmed at booking based on scope. Does not include tax. Basic materials means the small stuff: screws, nails, anchors, caulk, spackle, sandpaper, wood glue, and common hardware. For anything beyond that — lumber, drywall sheets, fixtures, paint, specialty supplies — I buy at cost and add the actual receipt amount to your invoice. No markup.

What I Don’t Do
To keep my focus on quality carpentry and repairs, I don’t handle:
In-wall plumbing, electrical or gas appliances
Full rooms of drywall installation
Full house painting
Roofing or insulations
Gutter repairs
Work over 2 stories high
Landscaping
I am more than happy to provide referrals for trusted contractors who specialize in these areas!
Custom Projects
Some projects require planning, custom measurements, or specialized builds. These are quoted individually based on scope, materials, and time required.
For select custom projects, I can provide CAD drawings and design plans to help you visualize the finished result before any work begins — including decks and outdoor structures, built-in furniture and shelving, bathroom and kitchen layouts, fence and gate designs, and catios. Just ask when you reach out.
Custom project examples include:
Plaster repair — takes multiple visits
Larger drywall repair — which can take multiple visits
Custom fence gates
Catios (outdoor cat enclosures)
Bathroom refreshes (vanity replacement, fixture updates, tile work)
Small ground-level decks or landings
Small shed builds
Built-in furniture or benches
Outdoor furniture
Accent walls with custom elements
How it works: Contact me with details about your project. I'll schedule a site visit to assess the space, discuss your vision, and provide a detailed written estimate.
Estimates include: Estimated labor hours and total labor cost, materials estimate, project timeline, and any special requirements or considerations.
Custom projects typically take 1–3+ days depending on complexity. A deposit may be required.
Monthly Maintenance Packages
Recurring monthly visits to stay ahead of the small things before they become bigger ones. A good fit for busy families, elderly homeowners, or rental property owners.

Seasonal caulking and weatherproofing
Light bulb changes

Walkway power washing
